We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our dynamic startup team in our Rio de Janeiro office (in Centro). As the CTO, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers and driving the technical direction of our company. Your expertise and leadership will play a vital role in shaping our technology strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Demonstrate a minimum of two years of experience in leading software development teams, showcasing your ability to drive results and deliver high-quality products.
- Serve as a technical authority and possess strong knowledge in cloud computing, leveraging cloud platforms to optimize our infrastructure.
- Bring at least two years of hands-on experience in AI technologies, applying them to develop innovative solutions and enhance our product offerings.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to oversee the development lifecycle, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of software products.
- Possess excellent people and stakeholder management skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Thrive in a startup environment, showcasing your adaptability, resourcefulness, and ability to navigate challenges and uncertainty.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and implement measures to safeguard our systems and data.
- Bring prior experience in developing and launching successful web applications, including knowledge of SaaS development practices.
- Fluent in both English and Portuguese, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages (language proficiency will be assessed during the recruitment process).

Contract type:
This position is offered as a 'Pessoa Jurídica' contract (Business-to-Business) for the first year. The candidate must have a valid CNPJ and be legally authorized to work in Brazil. After the first year, the contract type may evolve to other models, including the possibility of equity.
